Not a casino to let mother nature get in the way, Coushatta Casino Resort came back in full force operating mode just days after Hurricane Delta struck. This, of course, would be expected of the resilient Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana who have overcome many hardships over the years.
“We’re very pleased to reopen this quickly after the storm and allow our associates to return to work,” said General Manager Scott Sirois.
Coushatta is once again offering their guests the recreation and entertainment they’ve come to expect after years of operation, and the players have shown their appreciation by keeping the most popular casino in Louisiana busy. The card room is no exception.
Coushatta Casino Resort Hotel
Coushatta’s poker room keeps the action going with a bad beat jackpot, along with a High Hand promotion. The games offered are limit hold’em, no-limit hold’em, Omaha (limit and pot-limit) and Omaha eight-or-better with a half kill.
The beautiful 10-table card room, now located near Lenny B’s Cocktail bar, is known for its Southern charm and friendly staff. Players are offered food comps, have the convenience of USB chargers at each table, and can enjoy the game with six big-screen TVs.
Of course, the poker room has taken extra precautions to ensure players have a healthy, safe playing experience for everyone.
